Kelsey Case Part 5 The Truth Behind the bruises
During her short life Kelsey suffered many burises. Burises Kelsey's mother Raye Dawn Smith covered with excuses. Excuses that were lies.
Janurary 2005
Kelsey suffered a broken clavicle twenty-nine bruises and muiltple abraions. Kelsey had burising on her face and body abrasions on her bottom and neck. The emergency room physisicans said these injuries were more common with beating of a hair brush . Raye however said Kelsey got the broken clavicle from falling out her crib. The bruises Raye said she never saw.
March 24 2005- Kelsey had a bruise on nose and inclosed head injury.
April 14 2005 - while in care Raye Dawn kelsey sprained both her ankles.At the zoo in platform flip flops with raye sister.
March 24 2005 - Kelsey had bruise adn inclosed head injury.
April 14 2005 - while in Raye dawn's care Kelsey sprained both her ankels.

Bruising on kelsey nose and right knee and a closed head injury.

While in Raye Dawn's care Kelsey Sprained her ankles . Raye said Kelsey had sprained them at the zoo walking in flip flops with Raye 's sister in law. Kelsey however had bruises on arms and lower back. there was a bruised on the child .left elbow half dollar below the elbow. There was also a bruise on Klesye lower back that was yellow.
April 15 2005 - Raye was interview about the bruising on Kelsey rib cage she said Kelsey lean against a screen door then it opened.
Raye took Kelsey to the doctor and they said to have Klesye walk on her foot.
April 25 2005 - Kelsey refused to walk. Raye took her to the DHS office.Thye told Raye to take her to hospital. This doctopr said Kelsey had twisted her right ankle and the left was from over compensation
April 27 2005 - Kelsey had bruises on her nose Raye said that Mike's Daughter had elbowed her in the nose. Mike's daughter said she did not remember doing that. She said her told dad told her she might have. Mike however says that Raye told him that his daughter did.
May 2 2005
Kelsey was taken second opinion for her legs by Kathie Briggs her grandmother. The doctor said her broken legs were abuse. That her sprains were sprial fractures. That were forcefully twisted.
June 15 2005
Judge Key sented Kelsey back to her mother's home after stating that Kelsey abuser was unknown.
August 4 2005
Darell Ryan went over to Raye and Micheal's house to see Kelsey noted that Kelsey's nose was red and bleeding. Darell docemented that bleeding and redness was from a sinus promblem.
August 19 2005
CCM had stopped at the home to the child. Kelsey had bruise on her left cheek that the family stated that the child had pulled a ceramic lamp down on herself. Yet many FKM supporters said was from the car accident.
August 19 2005 - Kelsey , Raye and Micheal were in a car accident at 10:23pm.
August 23 2005
A critical incident rerport was completed stating Kelsey was refusing food. Kelsey seen that day by Dr. Koons on tuesday August 23 2005 . As part of the physical exam the noted this the following.
Skin - She had a bruise on her ;left hip and her left mandiable that is a half of inch by half inch wide. She a bruise on her left cheek.
Assement / plan- i fell some of the bruises are consient with the accident that is descirbe. I do feel that thay are somewhat potenially excessive for the MVA that occured. I remain concered of whether not something is goign to cause her more promblems.
August 27 2005
Ashley Kelsey's stepmother was able to get a visitation with Kelsey for five hours unsupervised.
September 2 2005
Raye Dawn said that Kelsey had injured her eye because Raye had used adult shampoo in Kelsey hair some had got into her eye and Kelsey had rubbed her eye skin red. CCM said that though a screen door in look like a black eye but upon checking appeareed to be reddish stabbing . Kelsey also had faint bruises on her right and two on her left.
In her OSBI Raye stated Kelsey would throw up when left alone with Mike Porter.
October 11 2005
Around 12:00pm and 1:30pm Kelsey visit for the last time by CHBS worker. Kelsey had small purple bruises The next visit was scheduled for October 18 2005.
No one was charged with the murdred of Kelsey Shelton Smith Briggs.
